Brad DuncanBrad Duncan is the writer of the webcomic Sweeten Village (www.sweetenvillage.com), the first three chapters of which have been collected in print in Sweeten Village Vol. 1.

A native of Henderson, Ky., Duncan attended the University of Kentucky (UK) in Lexington, where he received his undergraduate degree in communications and journalism. His writing career has included positions with the UK Athletics Association, the UK Public Relations Office and the UK College of Education. He also spent time as an editor/project manager with Host Communications Printing and Publishing (now IMG) working with UK, the Southeastern Conference and the NCAA.

In addition to public and media relations, Duncan’s interests include filmmaking and script writing. He successfully completed a 16-week certificate program in filmmaking at the Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lexington and is in the midst of completing the MFA in Writing program at Spalding University in Louisville, Ky. He has written three feature-length screenplays and numerous short film scripts. Duncan also has directed one of his own short films, The Obituaries, and the short Previously Viewed: Two-Day Rental, written by Eric Henninger and Zach Hightower.

Duncan returned to his hometown of Henderson in 2013 and continues to write.
